Created for Love—7th & 8th Grade Chastity Program

Human sexuality is not the easiest topic to talk about with your adolescent. But it is one of the most important discussions your son or daughter needs to have with you. And contrary to what you may think, studies show that adolescents do care and are shaped by their parents' beliefs on human sexuality.

Recognizing the challenge parents face in addressing this topic with their children, we're implementing a chastity education program for 7th and 8th graders. The program is a four hour workshop covering topics such as the difference between abstinence and chastity, church teaching on love & relationships as the appropriate framework for understanding the gift of human sexuality, all presented through age appropriate activities, video clips, presentations, and Q&A.

Sessions for middle school participants will be offered Saturday, March 16, 2013, at St. Robert's from 9:30-noon.
