From FATHER RICK
Dear Friends,
Today we celebrate Trinity Sunday – a day to reflect on
the mystery of the relationship within the Godhead and to open ourselves to
the implications for ourselves as church and as human persons in the world.
Thanks to all who helped make last weekend’s celebration
outstanding. This time even the weather cooperated!! In describing the Mass
to a friend via email, I wrote:
"The community was at its very best!!! We had (for
unknown reasons) all sorts of visitors some of whom have decided to join us
regularly because of (as one person put it after Mass): "the faith we
experienced here today"
It is celebrations like last week’s that enable us to go
out and live what we celebrate. Thank you!
CATHOLIC APPEAL
If you have not yet participated in the Catholic Appeal I
would ask you to seriously and prayerfully consider doing so this week.
There are pledge envelopes in the Gathering Space. You can either mail it
directly to the appeal office or drop it off at the Parish Office. Thank you
for your generosity. I hope to receive a report before the Masses this
weekend and will report verbally at the Masses on our progress.
WEEKDAY MASS THIS WEEK
Mass on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:10.
QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Please don’t forget to spend some time discussing and
praying about the "Question of the Week". This question is a way we as a
community can together engage the Sunday Scripture Readings.
Upcoming events
BODY & BLOOD OF Christ
Next weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Body &
Blood of Christ. As a sign of and to help us to continue to grow in our
understanding of the meaning of this incredible sacrament, we will be
conducting a food drive during the Presentation of the Gifts at all of our
Masses next weekend. Please bring a non perishable food item for Neighbors
In Need.
We continue to pray for peace in our world,
Have a great week!
Fr. Rick

Imagine being part of an organization that fills your
heart and your mind with the joy of giving to others and the feeling that
comes with making a difference. Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age
and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while
supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is
being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic
Church, while enhancing your own faith and setting a good faith example; it
is about protecting and enhancing your family life. You can volunteer
as much as you like or as little and on your own schedule. If you want to
find out more, contact John Perigaut (978-975-8015) or Mike Carman
(617-240-0005) or visit the website at <www.kofc.org>.

Stewardship Reflection
"But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you
to all truth." (John 16:13)
Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help us know the truth. So
why not ask the Holy Spirit the truth about your stewardship. Are you
sharing your time and talent with God and others? Do you give a fair amount
of your treasure to do the work of the Lord? Can you hear the Spirit’s
answer to those questions in your heart now? What more is He calling you to
do?
Remember that on Sunday, June 24, we will be reverting to
our Summer Mass Schedule
Weekend Liturgies will be celebrated,
Saturday, at 4 pm
Sunday Morning at 8 and 10:30

Question of the
Week
Trinity Sunday
Question for Adults and
Adolescents:
Today we celebrate the relationship of love among the Father, the Son and
the Holy Spirit. When this coming week will you create time to listen to and
experience God’s love for you?
Question for Children:
God fills us with love. How, this week, will you show your family - your
mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents, cousins - that you love them as
God loves them?
Solemn First
Communion
On Sunday June
10, the feast of Corpus Christi, we will be celebrating Solemn First
Communion during the 9:00 AM Mass with all the children who have received
their first holy Communion during the Easter season with hospitality to
follow in Driscoll Hall.
DUE NEXT WEEKEND -
JUNE 9/10
Baby Bottles to
Honor Motherhood!
There are still a
few baby bottles from The Pregnancy Care Center of The Merrimack Valley &
Southern New Hampshire (PCC). Please take one per family.
We are asking
that you take the bottles home. As a family, fill them with checks (made
payable to PCC), cash or coins, and return them to the church no later than
Sunday, June 10th. As you will see from the insert inside the bottle, you
may list the name and address of a special mother you wish to honor. The PCC
will send a card to her showing that you have made a gift for life in her
honor.
The Baby Bottle
Campaign is used to fund Pregnancy Care Center programs that provide sexual
integrity education, help women in crisis pregnancies with positive
alternatives to abortion and offer post abortion recovery. For Mothers Day
this is your opportunity to partner with your local ‘home town mission’ as
they honor motherhood and celebrate God’s gift of LIFE.

In those days, Melchizedek, king
of Salem, brought out bread and wine, and being a priest of God Most High,
he blessed Abram with these words: "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, the
creator of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who delivered
your foes into your hand." Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
Brothers and sisters: I received
from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the
night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke
it and said, "This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of
me." In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the
new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance
of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim
the death of the Lord until he comes.
Jesus spoke to the crowds about
the kingdom of God, and he healed those who needed to be cured. As the day
was drawing to a close, the Twelve approached him and said, "Dismiss the
crowd so that they can go to the surrounding villages and farms and find
lodging and provisions; for we are in a deserted place here."
He said to them, "Give them some
food yourselves." They replied, "Five loaves and two fish are all we have,
unless we ourselves go and buy
food for all these people." Now the men there numbered about five thousand.
Then he said to his disciples,
"Have them sit down in groups of about fifty." They did so and made them all
sit down. Then taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to
heaven, he said the blessing over them, broke them, and gave them to the
disciples to set before the crowd. They all ate and were satisfied.
And when the leftover fragments
were picked up, they filled twelve wicker baskets.
